Tell me something about Lanthamum Road, if you have a few minutes. Why Lanthamum? Such a great title though, so maybe it doesn't need a reason to go shimmering off into the distance like a ribbon of moonlight.
Hi Mairi - I'd rather not go into detail about the title, except that I'm wavering between "Lanthanum Road" & simply "Lanthanum"... & appreciate your comment on that!
Lanthanum is #57 in the periodic table of elements. The etymology comes from the Greek for "hidden, unnoticed". Among other uses, lanthanum is being tested as a road-paving material which helps reduce air pollution.
