It's nice that Ron thinks of Clark Coolidge as an abstract expressionist of words. My kids went to the same junior high as C.C. (Nathan Bishop, Providence). But I don't think the idea of non-representational language in poetry has enough carrying capacity or hull-space for the amount of canvas laid on up above, which means that the 94-gun galleon-frigate of langpo theory may tip over at any time.
